Service Upgrades · Panel Replacement · Surge Protection

More power for the way you live now.

EV chargers, heat pumps, finished basements and kitchens all add load an older panel wasn’t built for. We size the upgrade, pull the permit, coordinate with the utility and leave you with a clean, labeled panel.

Sound familiar?

When to call us.

  • You have a Federal Pacific (Stab-Lok), Zinsco or other panel your insurer flagged
  • You’re adding an EV charger, heat pump, hot tub or addition
  • Breakers trip when several things run at once
  • The panel is full and there’s no room for new circuits
  • A home inspection called out the panel

FAQ

Common questions.

Do I need a permit?

Yes. Panel and service work in New Jersey needs an electrical permit and an inspection. We file it and schedule the inspection.

How long will the power be off?

For most panel replacements and service upgrades, most of one working day. We tell you ahead of time and plan around the utility’s schedule.

Is a panel upgrade taxable?

Work that’s a capital improvement to your home can be exempt from NJ sales tax when you sign the state’s ST-8 certificate. We’ll tell you if your job qualifies.
